Who are we?

This website is a project by Stichts Gevecht Media, based in Maarssen, which is part of the municipality of Stichtse Vecht in the province of Utrecht—right in the heart of the Netherlands. Stichts Gevecht Media is a company that creates content and journalistic productions for businesses, governments, and organizations, specializing in video and audio productions. The website is in English and caters to expats and non-Dutch-speaking residents in the Netherlands. Additionally, it serves as a resource for Christmas lovers around the world.

Commercial opportunities

On the website, you’ll also see various banners from international companies. By clicking on these banners, you can purchase products from the respective suppliers. Through an affiliate system, we receive a small commission, which we use to cover the costs of running the website.

Video & Podcast

As video and podcast creators, we’ll be out and about on weekends this year to produce short videos on Christmas-related topics. We’ll also chat with guests about Christmas on our podcast Christmaslover.nl, the Dutch Christmas podcast. These videos and podcasts will be in Dutch.
